Watching The Olympics ??!!

To watch the Olympics
That's all I want to do
 I see something that needs doing
That compels me to do.

It maybe a dirty dish
Or that annoying dust
The tablecloth at a slant
Everything is a must!!!

 I sit with those blinkers
 I don't have a side view
Oh I need to make a move
To prepare that Irish stew.

I make it in record time
Not a 'cordon bleu'.
Those onions water my eyes
Everything such a blur.
x

Now my chores are all done
And everyone fast asleep
But the games over today
So not even a little  peep !!!

Next day I ignore the mess
To watch my very home team.
But then someone shakes me
Oh how I loved my sweet dream !!!
