We had a brilliant day out last Sunday when we visited Llys-Y-Fran Country Park in South Wales with grandchildren Ellie and Charlie.

Apart from the very dark clouds looming the dry weather prevailed and at times it was also sunny.

After finishing off the picnic in what must have been record time we began to explore every nook and cranny of our surroundings.

I am always the first to join in all the fun; I will always be young at heart and I enjoy life to the full.

Up hills,down dales:up steps,down steps !!!

My heart was pounding : Oh what fun !!!

The magical presence was everywhere and seemed to explode as we stood watching the waterfalls from the dam !!!

A little further on we walked into what I can only describe as almost magical ,intriguing and mysterious ;a wondrous haven full of beautiful, wonderful ,delightful and precious flowers.

Rejoice

Sing a sweet song

At the birth of each bloom

Silent and soft notes for us all

Each heart rejoices for Mother Nature

Her blessings so safe in my heart

Golden thoughts bring me back

Eternal songs

Rejoice.

What better place to end the day than the kiddies playground.

Night night

What a great day

Filled with magical rays

Each heart so full of happiness

We are so at one with Mother Nature

Stretch those limbs in glorious slumber

A day to remember

Enjoyed by all

Night night.

  1. Eddy this is fantastic and the pics are wonderful. However how shall I say it - the cute pic of the donkey has Eddy written under it. Now I know you're not the donkey and you took the pic but that can come out so amusing. lol Anyway love your work.
